Anglers Get One-Stop-Shopping For Weather, Sea and Fishing Conditions in a Single, Easy-to-Use Package 

Bahamas, April 13, 2008 - ClearPoint Weather is helping anglers get the upper edge as they compete in the Bahamas Billfish Championship, taking place throughout April, May and June in the ‘Out Islands of The Bahamas’.  The company is not only offering its best-in-class marine weather package, but also its Sport Fishing Edition(TM), PC-based weather system, including sea temperature, chlorophyll and bathymetry data to help anglers make smart decisions as they hunt their next big catch.

The Bahamas Billfish Championship, which is co-sponsored this year by ClearPoint and other leading companies, has taken place annually since its first season in 1973. Spanning April through June, all Championship tournaments are governed by a uniform set of rules controlling minimum lengths for qualifying billfish, line class, fishing hours and entry fees. Anglers can fish any or all of the tournaments with cumulative points determining the overall Bahamas Billfish Champions.
