“EcoGuard Systems” provides a practical solution for removing what is known as “Biofouling” of marine organisms (blue mussels, oysters, barnacles, weeds, etc) from the critical sections of such coastal and offshore structures as, pillars of bridge, piles of oil rigs and wind farms, water inlets of power stations, and other structures and walls that are normally left exposed, unprotected and less maintained in terms of monitoring and timely detection of corrosion, decay, paint detachment and erosion. Biofouling could prohibit preventive maintenance of critical sections of marine structures and could become the cause of various hazardous scenarios.
“EcoGuard Systems” resolves various problems associated with the underwater works such as, the increasing costs of diving operation, serious concern for aging of divers and high risks of underwater tasks, by eliminating the need for diving, reducing the cost and risks of such maintenance and repair operations, thereby not only improving the cost performance, but also contributing to the clearance of environmental concerns.
