NauticEd is an online, content rich, e-Learning, non-profit, educational organization providing up to date information enabling sailors and to safely and knowledgeably operate their modern 30 - 50 foot vessels.
The course work is formatted into 10 key learning Modules. Throughout each Module the student will discover important learnings about various aspects of boating. They will then be tested using NauticEd's proprietary e-Learning and E-Testing Technology.
Additional Standards cover the specific operation of selected manufacturers of boats, equipment and specialized clinics to home in on specific skills.
Several Certification levels are available and the student will progress in their depth of knowledge through each Certification level.
Upon a passing grade, Students will be be able to print out their Certificate. An online personalized resume shows the student Certification Levels attained as well a self assessed practical experience. At any time, the student may return to add certifications, re-certify, to update and hone theoretical skills and update practical skills. The resume can then be used to show charter companies world wide the competency of the student.
