You can connect to ClearPoint globally all year round over the Internet on any PC-based device.

Universal Access
ClearPoint weather can be easily accessed over standard Internet, broadband and Wi-Fi connections, and offers full compatibility with the world’s GPS and satellite communications services for continuous, real-time weather data feeds and universal access.

High Performance Technology for Any Location
ClearPoint’s advanced weather data comes from the world’s weather experts. The ClearPoint service updates weather data as frequently as every five minutes, delivering automatic feeds on average once every hour. The forecast function allows users to “fast forward” or animate changing weather conditions on their screen for optimal route planning or itinerary scenario-planning, based on the distance, direction and bearing of vessels in relation to current location.

Keep Your Satellite Communications Charges Low
Keep your communications costs low while accessing the ClearPoint Weather service anytime, anywhere around the globe! Our service is priced to keep the weather data you need at your fingertips without the high monthly connection charges and airtime costs.

As a key part of every ClearPoint weather subscription, we automatically offer you our Low Bandwidth Mode function - a complete package of Winds, Fronts, Barometric Pressure, Ocean Currents, Satellite, Marine Zone Bulletins and Forecasts delivered to you as part of the ClearPoint Edition of your choice, so your satellite download size at sea is as little as 16-20 KB, taking you no more than 2 minutes to download on average when using Iridium Satellite, for example.
